Generating Ideas

I've always had an interest in ZBrush and the creation of creatures, so I thought I'd write a short film surrounding that. Unfortunately, I haven't had much experience in digital creature creation, so I'll kind of be jumping in the deep end. I've always loved any movie with a monstrous creature in it, so I was brainstorming some way to include one. I figured the classic human-pet relationship was the best way to go, however I didn't want it to be basic. Professor Pasquale advised me to go extremely emotional with it in order to shake things up. So, the story starts with an attempted suicide. That sets an extremely serious tone from the get go. The ending was also hard to figure out, eventually I got it. The script is finished and can be accessed here. Time to start storyboarding the animatic!
