I finished the creature design for now, I'm sure it'll change in the future after getting some more feedback on it. The base design will definitely stay the same.. Here are some iterations throughout the process.

After location scouting, I went to the main area we would be filming in. I recorded a walk around and took shots for the background on an animatic. I went through, and placed the character and creature in the environment.. This will help during production because now we know the exact placement of the camera.

We just completed our first production meeting, figuring out logistics. We set our shoot dates for October 10, 11, and 12. October 10 is when we will shoot at the green screen room at monty for scene 1, We will shoot scenes 3-7 at my friend Eddies apartment, and scene 2 will be filmed at the SCAD backlot, which I still have to book. The other locations are locked down however. My Director of Photography has a lot of lighting equipment, and my friend Emily also has a good amount, so the only thing we might need to rent would be a camera. I want to get as high quality as possible, maybe a Komodo or an Ursa, it just depends on what would be best. We also figured out production design for each scene, but some of that also depends of the creature design, so that will be my next step. I'd like to finalize creature design in the next two weeks possibly, so I can start modeling it.
