Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete retopology fully because we had some set backs on the team, the person doing retopology dropped. from the project so I had to pick up where they left off. I am having a team meeting with everyone on Jan 8th to see where everyone is at and to set deadlines for our next goals.
After Fall quarter ended I've been in contact with my team about our goals by the end of winter break. I wanted to at least get Scene 1, the scene with the green screen, started and the matte painting somewhat completed. My compositors have started on it and know their workload. Also, I wanted to fully rig the creature by the end of the break. So far, I've fully finished sculpting the creature, it is getting retopologized now, and my rigger is on standby for when that is completed.
"previs" means i added in some sketches of the creature in the rough cut of before the fall. nothing to crazy, but I feel like it makes the story more cohesive.
